Day-of Logistics
How should I get to the venue?
We will have a shuttle option that will run from Hotel Petaluma, where we have a block of rooms reserved, to the venue before the ceremony, and back to the hotel at the end of the night. If you prefer to drive, Monkey Ranch has ample on-site parking. Rideshare options are available from Petaluma to Monkey Ranch, but be aware that pickup options at the end of the night may be more limited.
Is the venue accessible?
For guests with lower mobility, transportation will be provided between the ceremony site and reception for assistance. Let us know if you’ll be needing additional assistance on your RSVP.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be outdoors?
Our ceremony will take place outdoors, and our cocktail hour and reception will be mostly outdoors, with some room inside the two gorgeous heritage barns at the Monkey Ranch property.
What is the weather like in Petaluma in May?
Historically it’s been highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. You can check the current weather here.
Is there a dress code?
We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual attire. For this time of year in California, may we suggest the following attire:
Women: sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the short walk to and from the ceremony site.
Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional.
We kindly request that you please avoid wearing jeans or white to the wedding.
